More than 40,000 women in Ahmedabad will get free passes for Opening Ceremony & the first match of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 in Ahmedabad, it was reported in Indian media that in a bid to fill the Narendra Modi Stadium, the organizers offered free tickets to roughly 30,000 to 40,000 women from Ahmedabad along with free vouchers for tea and lunch.
